Back at Charlotte Hospital in Sanya Juu with Medical Mission Network. Back to a place where everything revolves around what matters most.

A bed. A newborn. A mother. A midwife who knows what to do.

Upon our return, it quickly becomes clear: no grand pronouncements are needed. The work here speaks for itself. Every day, children are born, women are cared for, decisions are made – often under conditions that are almost unimaginable in Europe, yet are everyday occurrences here.

Gyn-Help is back to provide support where it matters most: the basic medical care of women during pregnancy and childbirth. Not as short-term assistance, but as a long-term commitment – together with the local team and nurses on site.

This picture was taken just minutes after a birth. Not a staged moment. But a quiet beginning. For the child. For the mother. And for our work this year.

We are happy to be back.
